MONITORING OF PUBLIC COUNTY TRANSPORTATION

The implementation of the contract of Services for the implementation of the county public transport monitoring system has started within the project Overcoming Barriers – Improving The Mobility Of Residents Of The Border Region Of Transcarpathia (Ukraine), Maramures (Romania) And Szabolcs – Szatmar – Bereg (Hungary), HUSKROUA/1702/7.1/0076, selected for funding through the Hungary – Slovakia – Ukraine HUSKROUA ENI CBC 2014-2020 Cross border program, call 2, thematic objective 7 “Improving the accessibility of regions, developing sustainable and low impact communication and transport networks and systems”, priority 1 “Development of transport infrastructure to improve the mobility of goods”.

Project objective is the improvement of the accessibility between regions by developing sustainable and environmentally friendly transport networks that will contribute to the improvement of the transport infrastructure in the border regions of Transcarpathia (Ukraine), Maramures County (Romania) and Szabolcs – Szatmar – Bereg (Hungary).

Purpose of the contract

Implementation and configuration of the computer system that is the subject of the contract, user training, delivery, installation and configuration of the GPS and air monitoring equipment.

The information system is intended to be:

Accessible, by promoting:

  • Access to an unlimited number of users. The application will be provided to users using a simple graphical interface, which will allow unrestricted access of users.
  • Simple interface, easy to learn and use by exploiting a standardized development framework for the use of specific Romanian language characters, with labels and messages in Romanian, a requirement that will be reflected in all interfaces of the applications.
  • Clear navigation mechanism that contain instructions in Romanian and closely reflect the process with which the user is familiar.

Efficient, by:

  • Producing of financial savings by optimizing work
  • Increasing employee labor productivity by eliminating redundant data operations, optimizing work procedures by introducing document management principals, shortening of the time required for investigation and documentation to resolve requests, etc.
  • Better organization of user activity.

Innovative – using the most appropriate technologies that will determine the performance of the program.

Secure – by protecting the confidentiality of user-supplied and stored data, as well as ensuring procedures for securing information transfers using communications services integrated into the system architecture.

Scalability – ensuring the possibility of extending both functions of the program and the technical parameter, as new requirements arise. It will be configurable and able to cope with a progressive number of users.
